The 部门 of Applied Health Sciences is one of four departments in the College of Health and Human 服务.

The departmental programs focus on promoting improved quality of life in all communities through education and 健康促进/prevention   The 唯有通过 部门 is home to 2 disciplines: Nutrition and Public Health.  本科 degree are offered in all 3 areas; at the graduate level the department offers a Master of Public Health (MPH).

An ongoing demand exists for competent professionals and specialists in the areas of nutrition education, 家庭生活教育, 健康促进, and disease prevention in both the public and 私人 sectors.
